Governor Proclaims Ag Week
Las Cruces, NM—New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has proclaimed March 16-22 as National Agriculture Week throughout the state of New Mexico.
The Governor noted that agriculture has always been a cornerstone of our state’s and our nation’s economy.
Governor Richardson also noted that this week gives us the opportunity to reflect on the essential partnerships between agriculturalists and members of the urban community who have improved the quality of life for New Mexico’s citizens.
