New Employees
We would like to introduce our new employees to NMDA. Please help us welcome the following new employees.

Hilary Brinegar works in our APR division as the Water and Natural Resources Policy Specialist. Hilary recenly graduated from NMSU with her master's degree. Her thesis was, “Economically Sustainable Agricultural Water Conservation Policies in the Rio Grande Basin”. She completed her thesis in March 2007 and graduated in May. During college, Hilary worked as a research assistant in the Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Business department at the NMSU College of Agriculture. Hilary enjoys that NMDA provides a wide variety of services to the agricultural communities throughout New Mexico. Outside of work, Hilary enjoys enjoy hiking, backpacking, road trips, photography, dancing, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. As far as food, Hilary enjoys anything with green chile. Welcome Aboard Hilary! |

Laura Flores is no stranger to the NMSU campus. Laura was previously employed as a Unix Systems Administrator at NMSU. Laura brings forward her knowledge, experience, and expertise to assist NMDA with it's advancement in information techonology and communications. Outside of work, Laura enjoys reading and watching movies. Her favorite food is Mexican. Welcome to NMDA Laura!

Debbie Rivera is our new receptionist. Before coming to NMDA, Debbie was the owner/director of a child care center here in Las Cruces. Prior to that, she was a store manager/wardrobe consultant at a local clothing store. Debbie enjoys scrapbooking, sewing, embroidery, painting, and being a great sports spectator! She enjoys shrimp and crab along with a great salad! Stop by and say hi to Debbie when you have a chance. |

Erica Valdez is not a stranger to NMDA. Erica was a student aide in our Marketing division during her years at New Mexico State University. After she graduated from NMSU, she briefly continued to work at NMDA until she moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. In Pagosa Springs, Erica worked for a ranch and was in charge of all subcontractors and cattle leases. Erica returned back to Las Cruces and started working at NMDA as the Certification Specialist in the AES division. Outside of work, Erica enjoys horses, going to rodeos, and ranching. Her favorite food is a steak or anything with green chile. Sounds good Erica, welcome back to NMDA! |

Vicente Vargas is the new assistant to the Director of Governement and Legislative Affairs. Vicente brings knowledge and experiencing in working with lobbyists and the legislative process to NMDA. Prior to coming to work at NMDA, Vicente worked in the New Mexico Legislature. Outside of work, Vicente enjoys traveling and camping. His favorite food are chile rellenos-yum! Welcome to NMDA Vicente! |
