Family-friendly AG Day event to take place prior to Aggie Homecoming football game
Nashville performer and Las Cruces native Della Bustamante to sing at AG Day
(Las Cruces, New Mexico) – The seventh annual AG Day event is just around the corner! AG Day is from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in the Pan American Center south parking lot adjacent to Aggie Memorial Stadium, and admission is free. The event is hosted by the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico State University College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to celebrate New Mexico agriculture before cheering on the Aggies at the Homecoming game against the Liberty Flames. This year’s AG Day is sponsored by New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau and Farm Bureau Financial Services.
Over 40 booths representing numerous NMSU groups, as well as businesses and organizations from New Mexico’s agriculture community, will be available to Aggie fans at the event. AG Day will feature farm animals, educational exhibits, games, prizes, samples of New Mexico-made food and a live performance by former Nashville performer, Las Cruces native and NMSU alumna Della Bustamante from 3 to 6 p.m.
Aggie fans are also encouraged to attend the NMSU Homecoming parade prior to AG Day from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. along University Avenue. The event is free for all attendees.
