Country music performer Brennin Hunt to sing national anthem before 4 p.m. kickoff
(Las Cruces, New Mexico) – Dust off your cowboy boots and your dancing shoes; the New Mexico Department of Agriculture and New Mexico State University College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences are partnering with the Las Cruces Country Music Festival to host AG Day Saturday, Oct. 20.
Come celebrate New Mexico agriculture before cheering on the Aggies against the Georgia Southern Eagles.
AG Day is from 12 to 4 p.m. in the Pan American Center south parking lot adjacent to Aggie Memorial Stadium on the NMSU campus, and admission is free. This year’s AG Day is sponsored by New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau and Farm Bureau Financial Services.
Over 50 booths representing numerous NMSU groups, as well as businesses and organizations from New Mexico’s agriculture community will be available to Aggie fans at the event. AG Day will feature farm animals, educational exhibits, games, prizes, samples of New Mexico-made food and a live performance by musician Chris Baker from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Las Cruces Country Music Festival takes place Friday, Oct. 19 to Sunday, Oct. 21. After the football game, fans are encouraged to head to the Hadley Complex for some great music.
Country music performer Brennin Hunt will sing the national anthem at 3:40 p.m. on the Aggie Memorial Stadium football field prior to the 4 p.m. kickoff. He is performing at the Las Cruces Country Music Festival later that night.
